Upon riding a trolley, we realized that the Trolley’s unique side-facing seating made the experience fun beyond mere transportation. We therefore created a new slogan of, “The fun way to see Hawai’i” and branded accordingly. New vehicle wraps, uniforms and Map Guides centered on the base color of orange as a fun color, and one that would stand out against the complimentary colors of aqua and mauka green. A new logo was also created in purple, another compliment to orange, thereby enhancing the color depth of the brand.
The entire fleet of trolley cars and double decker buses were wrapped in the brand system. The fleet system included advertising reserves framed by a brand proscenium to keep advertising clean while also preserving the brand identity of the Trolley system. Services provided include:
